Tuning party 2002

Tuning Party 2002 was from 29. 6. till 30.6. 2002 at the airport in Hradec Králové. Although the action should started on Saturday more than 250 people already came on Friday. All night we could hear roaring of engines and drumming noise of subwofers. Impatient tuners were driving their cars on the drive way and they couldn´t wait to Saturday´s races.

On Saturday at 6 a.m. other tuning cars started to come at the airport, cars were much more than we expected, so the town traffic was blocked. At the airport came more than 1.800 tuning cars and about 18.000 fans of tuning cars. There were tuners from our country, Slovakia, Poland and Germany. Because of bad weather the beginning of sprint had to be delay. People were racing till late afternoon and it was really good show. It was the first time in Eastern Europe when people could see dragster class Competition with engine power 1500 Ph and on the 400 metres long drive way this dragster reached speed 300 kilometres/hour

People also could see Tomás Sulek, who is by the way winner of Czech Drag serie, with his motorcycle dragster accelerating 0 – 100 kilometrs/hour in 2 seconds. Some of tuners were strenuously destroying their tyres with accompaniment of engines at the top of the throttle. You could see more than 45 presentation companies from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. At the airport there were available karts, minibikes, merry-go-round and sight-seeing flights from Delta Air company. On Saturday evening there was concert Rammstein Members Club, than striptease and house party. All the night tuners were racing and the cathword of this action “ The Fast and the Furious in Hradec Králové ” was really apposite.

On Sunday during the afternoon people came away and yesterday party reminded only plenty of rubbish and black stripes on drive ways. And we just want to say: we are really looking forward to the next tuning party.
